Merry Christmas! !!

Today all around the world people exchanged gifts, visited with friends and family, and ate until they couldn't move! If I had to pick one of my favorite things that I do with my family before Christmas, I would say watching Christmas movies. Surprise Surprise huh?? We will have chili or hamburgers for dinner, with coco for dessert. We'll all eat in the living room and watch some cheesy Hallmark movie with so many things that are unrealistic.  Then we'll do our advent devotional to remind us who CHRISTmas is really about. I just wanted to wish all of my beautiful readers a very merry Christmas!  Thanks for reading my blogs:-)

Question Time!!! What is your favorite pre-Christmas tradition??!

The Hobbit-An Unexpected Journey

The Hobbit- An Unexpected Journey.  I have been waiting for two years to see this movie. Friday at midnight, I finally got to see it! It has been nine years since director Peter Jackson took fans all over the world back to Middle Earth. The story starts when the old Bilbo Baggins (Ian Holm) is writing all about his adventures, for his nephew Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood). Older Bilbo Baggins starts his story 60 years earlier, when he is approached by Gandalf the Grey (Sir Ian McKellen).  Gandalf had choosen Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) to accompany himself, Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and 12 other dwarves on a quest to take back the Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.  I give this movie a definate POP.  I give this a POP because the entire production was amazing! Everything from the music to the dwarves beards was amazing!   The soundtrack for the movie was directed by Howard Shore, the same man who directed the music for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, which made it special. The location of the movie was perfect. The places used for this production didn't even look real. It really did look like the magical world of Middle Earth. The cast was perfect. The costumes were amazing. Peter Jackson, once again made Middle Earth real for three and a half hours, and I am really anxious to see the rest of the films.

Have you seen the film yet? What did you think??

QUESTION TIME! Who was your favorite out of all thirteen dwarves? Why? Leave your answers in the comment section below!!

Something's Coming... :)

Hey guys!!! It is only 16 days 393 hours and 23609 minutes until the U.S. premier of The Hobbit! I for one am very excited! In case you don't know what the Hobbit is about, I decided to let you guys in! :)

Bilbo Baggins(Martin Freeman) is a hobbit. Hobbits have no reason to leave their comfortable lazy lives. Bilbo is asked to accompany thirteen dwarves on a quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug. On request of Gandalf the Grey(Sir Ian McKellen), Bilbo finds himself joining the dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield(Richard Armitage). Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters and Sorcerers. On their journey, Bilbo runs into a quite unusual creature named Gollum. Here, Bilbo Baggins not only discovers depths of guile and courage that surprise even him, he also gains possession of Gollum's "precious" ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities.

What do you think?! Sounds cool right?! The director, Peter Jackson, has been doing video blogs along the production journey. They are really cool! You should check them out!!

Go check out Jackson's youtube channel to see the  blogs!!!!                                                         http://www.youtube.com/user/pjacksonwingnutfilms

Words cannot describe the awesomeness of this movie!!!! It's AMAZING!!!!! Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Laughtner, Peter Facinelli, and many other fantastic actors are back for the saga's last film. I can't write too much without giving away the story. All I can say is this movie was EPIC and a must-see! I give it a POP!

Wreck It Ralph

Today I saw Disney's Wreck-It Ralph with voice overs by John C. Reilley, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and many more fantastic actors. I really enjoyed this movie! This movie was all about Wreck-It Ralph and his journey to find himself. Ralph (John C. Reilley) was the bad guy in the video game Fix-It Felix JR. and didn't like it. He wanted to be someone that people appreciated and respected. In order to become who he thought he wanted to be, Ralph goes game-hopping, attempting to become a hero. He met many new people on his journey including Vanellope (Sarah Silverman), Sargent Calhoun (Jane Lynch), and King Candy (Alan Tudyk). I am going to rate this movie a POP!  I thought it was a really cute movie! In the movie they talked about staying true to yourself and knowing who your true friends are.

I loved this movie! What did you think of it? Leave your thoughts below to let me know!!! :)

Hotel Transylvania

Vampires, mummys, frankensteins, werewolves, and many other monsters all need to find safety from the awful humans. All the monsters of the world can find the peace while staying at Dracula's Hotel Transylvania. The famous vampire Count Dracula, voiced by Adam Sandler, is worried about his daughter Mavis, who is voiced by singer Selena Gomez, being hurt by humans like his late wife. Out of his worry, he creates Hotel Transylvania not only for his daughter's safety, but for the protection of all monsters. After hundreds of years of being human-free, what will happen when a teenage boy stumbles upon the monster's sanctuary? I absolutely loved this movie! It is a major POP. Hotel Transylvania was a super cute and funny movie. It showed the importance of trust and love in a relationship. I had a great time watching this movie and I hope you enjoy it as well! :D                                                                                                                                                                                             PEACE OUT GIRLSCOUTS!!!!!!

Here Comes the BOOM

Hey guys! Here Comes The Boom is a cool, and really funny movie! I liked it, and I am going to give it a POP! This movie is about Scott Voss, whose character is acted out by Kevin James. Scott is a high school teacher who sets out to raise money to save a friend, Marty Streb's(Henry Winkler) job. In order to raise the thousands of dollars needed to save the music program, as well as Marty's job, the high school biology teacher looks to become a successful mixed-martial arts fighter. I love the story line of this production. No matter how hard it is, or how hurt Scott becomes, he refuses to give up and let the kids down. He continues to persevere and give hope to his students. Here Comes The Boom was a great movie!                  Peace Out Girlscouts!!!!!!!:)

Won't Back Down

Won't Back Down, is a big POP! The film is about mothers Jamie Fitzpatrick and Nona Alberts, fighting for a better education for their children and the community. Jamie Fitzpatrick, portrayed by Maggie Gyllenhaal is very concerned about her dyslexic daughter Malia, and gets the idea to start an education revolution. With this idea in mind, Jamie befriends teacher Nona Alberts, a character executed by award-winning actress Viola Davis. Together these two companions campaign for a change in the current learning system, by going around their community fundraising, protesting, and petitioning for improvement. This movie shows that anything you set your mind to, it can be acomplished. Also, that there is always hope.

What did you think of the movie? Leave me a comment letting me know! Also, is there any new movies you'd like to see reviewed? Let me know in a comment! :) THANKS!!!

Sparkle

Sparkle, released August 2012, is a movie set in the 1960s.  The film is about three sisters, Sister(Carmen Ejogo), Dolores (Tika Sumpter), and Sparkle (Jordan Sparks), who become a popular singing group. I give this movie a POP! It was a great movie and it had some important lessons in it. Though they don't always make the right choices, Sparkle, Sister and Dee try to love and support one another no matter what. In the movie, it shows that every choice you make can seriously effect others. Overall, it was a great movie! It had fantastic storyline, the movies and music were amazing!

Have you seen the movie Sparkle? What did you think about it? Comment what you thought of it!!

HUNGER GAMES! DVD!

The Hunger Games on DVD was just amazing as it was in theaters! This movie is a MAJOR POP! I loved it! I think it stuck as close to the book as it could. There were some missing minor details, but in the long run it will be fine. I think they did a fantastic job with casting(espically Peeta :D)! From Donald Southerland to Willow Sheilds the cast was brilliant! It is so cool watching how they set up this movie, for the other films. They develop a lot of the characters, and show you what their like, even if they aren't in the books all too much. I am so excited for Catching Fire!

Justin Beiber's "As Long As You Love Me"

I'm going to give Justin Beiber's "As Long As You Love Me" a crackle. The song is good and it's catchy. The video itself was a bit confusing. It had some innuendo. In the video, he is in this parking garage place dancing with this group, and I thought automatically of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" video. Also the group of dancers had girls in it with some inappropriate clothing, which again is just unnecessary. The story of the video was nice, I liked the song. So overall, it was a crackle.

So what did you think of the video and/or the song? Post a comment! :)
                                            Till next time! PEACE!

The Dark Knight Rises

POP!POP!POP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely loved this movie! I loved all the actors that were chosen for the whole trilogy! Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordan Levitt, and Anne Hathaway, just to name a few. Christopher Nolan did everything to make this movie great from, the story, to set, to even the music! There were so many twists and turns in this movie that kept you on your toes it was great! I don't want to get into the story because I don't want to spoil anything for those of you who haven't seen it! It is the must see movie of the summer in my opinion!

                                                                 Peace Out!!! :)

The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spider-Man was...... AMAZING!! :) POP! I liked this movie, so did many others. In fact, the reviews were so amazing, that Marc Webb has already announced the SECOND Spider-Man. This movie was a little bit of everything. You have your romance, your action, comedy, tragedy, thrills; it was great! It's basically about this dude,  whose parents disappeared when he was young, and he is living with his Aunt May(Sally Field) and Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) and all this crazy stuff starts happening to him all at once. It's good. I haven't seen the original Spider-Man series so I can't compare. I loved Andrew Garfield as Peter(spider-man) he was everything the leading man should be. :D I really liked Emma Stone as Gwen.  She was perfect for the part! I always loved the emotions she puts into her films..

So what did you think of the movie?! Go ahead and share your opinions in a comment! :) Till next time!!!

Previews!!!

Okay so this is my little section where I talk about some of the previews I've seen and which ones look intersting, and which don't.

The Hobbit- Who knows how long I've been waiting for this movie!!! I am so excited to see it!!!
Batman- It looks like it is going to be a really fun movie. I haven't seen any of the other movies so I don't know the story, but it looks good.

Spiderman- This movie looks really good. It seems to have a great story line and I look foward to seeing it. :)

Epic- This movie is the creators of Ice Age and Rio so it could go either way. I think if I do go to see it it'd be for Josh Hutcherson.. :)

Monster's University- I will DEFINATELY go and see this movie! I love Monsters Inc.! I'm such a little kid! :)

Breaking Dawn Part 2- YES! I like the Twilight series. This is the one with more action so I'm excited.

Ice Age 4- I don't know if I will see this one in theater's maybe when it comes out to redbox. The other Ice Age's were crackles, so we'll see.

Wreck it Ralph- This looks funny! I think I will see this one! I think it will have a good story too.

Finding Nemo 3D- YES PLEASE!!! :D

Dog Days(Diary of a Wimpy Kid)- The other movies were good and the books are awesome so I will probally end up watching this one.

Thor 2: I think I will end up seeing it because the first one was such a downer ending. How many times does the world need saved though? Because there are all these super hero movies coming out! Spiderman, Batman, IronMan2, Thor2.. Didn't we just Avenge the world? I don't get it. Is it just me? Oh well.. :)

                                                     Peace!!! :)

Brave

This week, while I was in Dallas my family went to see Brave. It  was a great movie, but as a Pixar movie it wasn't my favorite. I think overall, it is a POP.  The actors that they used for the voices were absolutely phenominal! Kelley MacDonald, Emma Thompson, and Billy Connolly are the main cast. They were excelent!! The music was beautiful!! It made me want to play the bagpipes! :) There was a witch in the movie and spells, it ended up being a big part of the movie, but it turned into a negative thing. Overall it was a fantastic movie!

Again if there are anything I missed, or you'd like to point out, please leave a comment! <3 y'all!!

Snow White and the Huntsman

So, my first film to review is, Snow White and the Huntsman. This movie is a.... POP!!! Can I just say that this movie was fantastic, and it was super close to the actual story of Snow White. I think that they did a great job with the casting!! Kristen Stewart had her moments when you would think you were watching Twilight, but overall she was amazing for the role and did a great job at protraying the character. Chris Hemsworth was absolutely FAN-TASTIC as the Huntsman! I personally am a huge fan, but I was a bit skeptical at first at how he would do for the part. I shouldn't have doubted, because he did great! The evil queen/stepmother was played by Charlize Theron.  I had never seen any movie that she was in before this, but she was creepy! (That's a good thing in this case) I was so surprised at how good she was at being bad!!! William, was a neat character to have in the story, and it really threw in some twists!!!

Overall, it was a fantastic movie! To get the full experience you have to see it yourself! Leave any comments if there is anything you'd like to see in my next blog! Also, feel free to leave some advice if you see anything!! 'Till next time!!! PEACE!!!

Snap Crackle Pop

Okay so basically this blog is going to give each new film, or album or whatever a Snap Crackle or Pop. Sanp means " O snap, that was not good AT ALL!!" Crackle- "Yeah that was okay. I would maybe buy it, but wasn't the best it could be." And POP- "That was UH-MAZ-ING! I loved it and would TOTALLY buy that!!!" I am so excited to start this blog, and I can't wait to get to seeing more movies and waiting for more albums to come out!!! :))))
