So today I saw Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2. First of all, you should know that I absolutely love the original and it is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. So as you could imagine, once the announcement of a sequel hit I was pretty stoked. However I already had many expectations for the film. I was so pleased however with the long awaited final cut! So I give it a POP!!
The plot of the film, is what happens to the island of Swallow Falls AFTER the FLDSMDFR almost destroyed the world. We get to tag along with many familiar faces like Flint Lockwood, (Bill Hader:Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) Sam Sparks, (Anna Faris:Scary Movie 4, The House Bunny), Steve the Monkey, (Neil Patrick Harris: How I Met Your Mother, Starship Troopers) "Chicken" Brent, (Andy Samberg: Hotel Transylvania, Hot Rod) and many more fun characters.
What I love about this movie is how creative it was! There were so many fun "foodimals" and creative puns to go with them, that would literally make you laugh out loud. Also the morals in this movie werr great! How important trust and friendship is and what it means to be a true friend and help others.
I LOVED this movie and it was great for the family! Even though I prefered the originally film, I can't wait to see Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 again!
